Kamala Harris, House Dems, Introduce Resolution Condemning Terms Like “Wuhan Virus” as Racist

Senator Kamala Harris and other bottom-dwelling anti-American Democrats are wasting no time showing America who’s team they’re really playing on.
The Senator from California and her leftist colleagues both in the Senate and in the House introduced a resolution condemning terms like the “Chinese virus, “Wuhan virus,” and other similar terms as racist.
California Sen. Kamala Harris and several other Senate Democrats introduced a resolution condemning COVID-19 virus nicknames such as the “Chinese virus” as racist.
In a Wednesday Senate resolution co-sponsored by Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and 23 other Democratic senators, lawmakers called on the chamber to condemn the terms as racist.
“The use of anti-Asian terminology and rhetoric related to COVID–19, such as the ‘Chinese Virus,’ ‘Wuhan Virus,’ and ‘Kung-flu,’ have perpetuated anti-Asian stigma,” the resolution stated. “Since January 2020, there has been a dramatic increase in reports of hate crimes and incidents against those of Asian descent.”
The resolution notes that one study found 400 instances of anti-Asian discrimination related to the pandemic between Feb. 9, 2020, and March 7, 2020. The resolution also cited the World Health Organization’s condemnation of using the virus’s location as a name.
The resolution “condemns all manifestations or expressions of racism, xenophobia, discrimination, anti-Asian sentiment, scapegoating, and ethnic or religious intolerance” while asking that federal authorities thoroughly investigate any instances of hate crimes against Asian Americans.
While the president is hard at work fighting the virus, and making sure China pays a price for what it has done to the world, Harris and her buddies are working overtime to try and appease the Chinese communist government.Instead of working to try and make conditions better for the Americans who have been hit hard by the shutdowns, the Democrats are busy virtue signaling and basically wasting everyone’s time.
Democrats are a disgrace and they should be ashamed of themselves but they know no shame. Only a raw lust for power, no matter the cost.
Sad, pathetic, but entirely predictable.

Tom Cotton Rips Pelosi’s Deportation Stance: ‘If U.S. Can’t Deport Illegal Aliens Who Have Been Ordered Deported, Who Can We Deport?’

“So, that is really kind of what happened. Trump didn’t say what he was going to do but, as the president said, ‘oh, I’ll let you know, I’ll let you know.’ He went into — ‘well, people broke the laws.’ A violation of status is not a reason for deportation. That’s just not so,” Nancy Pelosi said to a stunned audience.
So…she is saying that being here illegally is not cause for deportation. Enter Tom Cotton who does not suffer these political foolish notions easily.
From Breitbart: Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) questioned who federal immigration officials are allowed to deport if not illegal aliens who have already been ordered deported by an immigration judge.Last week, President Trump backed down on a plan to deport about 2,000 illegal alien families that have been ordered deported by immigration judges, saying he would use the effort as a bargaining tool in talks with Democrats to pass legislation that reforms the country’s asylum laws.
During an interview with Fox News Sunday‘s Chris Wallace, Cotton asked if the U.S. cannot deport even illegal aliens with final deportation orders, who can be deported?
The exchange went as follows:
WALLACE: President Trump has also delayed a round-up that was supposed to begin today of migrant families that have already been given their deportation orders.
[Trump] says he’s giving Congress two weeks to work out, to reform the asylum system, otherwise, he’ll impose the round-up. I don’t have to tell you, you have a little bit of a look on your face.
The likelihood … you talk about healthy skepticism, Congress isn’t going to reform the asylum system in two weeks, sir. [Emphasis added]
COTTON: So Chris I was just going to say healthy skepticism is warranted when you’re dealing with Democrats on immigration.
Let’s just think about the Democrats’ position here Chris. These are people who have claimed asylum in our country, they’ve had their day in court, they’ve had their claims rejected and now they face a valid and final order of removal.
If we can’t deport people like that, who can we deport? That’s why the Democrats’ position ultimately comes back to, in essence, open borders. [Emphasis added]
WALLACE: So what do you think of the president’s decision to hold off on the round-up of these people who should be deported? [Emphasis added]
COTTON: Two weeks for a couple of thousand families is not going to make a big difference. And if we could get a … genuine law passed through Congress that would address the asylum reforms that we need to stop the crisis at the border, that would be a good thing.
But, again, I go back to this point: If you can’t deport an illegal alien who has a valid and final order for removal that’s adjudicated by an immigration judge, who can you deport? [Emphasis added]
